Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Koru Technology LLC (“KORU,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through the English version of korutech.net: when you contact us, request a demo or a quote, or use our virtual assistant.
KORU Technology, S.A. de C.V. in Mexico publishes a separate privacy notice, in Spanish, for the Spanish version of the site. If you are located in Mexico, please read that notice.
1. Who we are
- Company: Koru Technology LLC, a limited liability company
- Mailing address: Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 3200 #7398, Miami, FL 33131, USA
- Privacy contact: info@korutech.net
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Identifiers and contact details: name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number.

- Communications: the content of messages and emails you send us and your conversations with our virtual assistant.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and security logs.
We collect this information directly from you and, for technical information, automatically when you visit the site. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as health, financial account, precise location or government ID data, and we ask that you do not include it in your messages. This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
3. How we use information
- Respond to your questions and requests.
- Schedule demos and prepare quotes and proposals.
- Deliver services you request, including the External Exposure and AI-Risk Express Check.
- Protect the site, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the records we need.
- Send you information about KORU services, where the law allows or with your consent. You can opt out at any time.
- Improve the site and the virtual assistant, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not disclose it to third parties for their own direct marketing. We share it with:
- Our affiliate, Koru Technology, S.A. de C.V. (Mexico), to handle your request and deliver services.
- Service providers that act on our behalf and under our instructions, such as website hosting and security (for example, Cloudflare), email (for example, Hostinger), scheduling and contact-management tools, and the AI technology providers that power our virtual assistant.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities and other parties when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting and security provider may log technical data, such as IP addresses, to protect the site. If we add analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, the site does not change how it works in response to “Do Not Track” signals. We treat browser signals such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your information.
6. Marketing emails
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address (Biscayne Boulevard, Suite 3200 #7398, Miami, FL 33131, USA). We honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting and security requirements. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on the state where you live (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Virginia), you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your personal information.
- Receive a portable copy of it.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.
- Not be treated differently for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email info@korutech.net with the subject “Privacy request” and tell us what you would like to do. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and an authorized agent may submit a request for you with your written permission. We aim to honor these requests from any U.S. resident.
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend once by up to 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will answer your appeal in writing within the time your state’s law requires. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general.
10. International processing
KORU operates in the United States and Mexico. Information you provide may be processed in either country and in other countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws different from those where you live.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its date and, for material changes, notify you by email when we have your address.
